Building Today for Tomorrow

In 1991, Taylorville Memorial Hospital launched its philantropic endeavors with the establishment of its Fund Development Program. Charitable giving plays an important role in maintaining our high standard of care. The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation began operating in July 1995 and is governed by a 13 member Board of Directors with the goals of:

  • Raising donated funds for new equipment, programs and services that benefit the patients served by Taylorville Memorial.
  • Encouraging the growth of the Foundation's Endowment Fund, which long term, will greatly benefit the hospital and the patients we serve throughout the 21st century.

The Foundation is designed to make the best use of donated funds to benefit the community we serve. Through the Foundation's efforts and the continued growth of the Endowment Fund, TMH is able to secure new medical equipment and establish new health care programs.

All charitable gifts contributed to the Taylorville Memorial Foundation are used exclusively for the benefit of your community hospital.

Why Does the Hospital Need My Support?

Keeping technology and facilities current for meeting today's expanding healthcare needs requires approximately $2 million in capital expenditures for TMH each year. Donated funds help us provide up-to-date equipment, programs, and services to our patients and their families.
